5 more minutes...

I recently got addicted to WoW and i'm playing that game like a crazy mad man. Hell, it's not easy to enjoy life when all my friends are on one side of the world and me in the other. One of my friends already reached the highest levels in WoW while i'm just beginning to explore the World of Warcraft. The original plan was for me to play when I go back to the Philippines, but by the time I get back the expansion would've come out and I will be strolling along newbie areas while the rest of my guild would be exploring the new world content Blizzard has to offer.

srwa3

Now what the hell does srwa3 mean? It stands for super robot wars (taisen) alpha 3, one of the games from the super robot wars series, and as the title suggests it is the third installment of the alpha storyline. So what is the series all about? The simplest way to describe it is to imagine your favorite mecha series from when you were young, let's say voltes v or daimos, or even with some of the recent mecha series, like evangelion or gundam seed, put them together in one whole game and what do you get? A strategy rpg that pits your good guy robots with bad guy robots. Not hard to imagine, but is the gameplay good? Oh yes, stage battles can take you anywhere from 30 minutes to a full 2 hours. But the intermission between stages is the best part; you get to customize your mechs and their pilots, upgrading their weapons and pilot skills, placing extra parts, and much more. I won't go into the details, you have to see for yourself. Sadly, it is only available in Japanese, because brining the series into American shores would entail a chaotic battle in licensing issues. In Japan, most if not all super robot licenses are owned by one company, Banpresto, while in the US they're distributed across different companies. Since it's only available in Japanese, it's a chore to learn the game on your own if you don't understand the language at all. Better let someone familiar with the series to teach you a few basic things, or better search for FAQs about the game.

In terms of my progess on the game I'm halfway into it. I've already got my upgraded mech character (you get to choose one of four preset mechs in the beginning). And i'm currently trying to find the time to continue playing because i'm busy playing WoW.

level 16 rogue

I've recently created an alternate (alt), or rather my main character in World of Warcraft (WoW). I initially started using a female human mage, but got rather tired of running away from mobs of enemies. I wanted a melee class. So I created a male night elf rogue, and he's bringing pain everywhere I go. I'm currently at level 16, leveling at a faster rate than my mage. Probably everyone stating that rogues level faster were correct about it. I'll try to post pictures of my rogue once he gets decent and 'look good' equips.
